Weber State's women's cross country team and women's soccer teams were honored Tuesday by the Ogden City Council after capturing Big Sky Championships earlier this year.

Freshman Summer Harper finished 156th at the NCAA National Championships on Saturday in extremely increment running conditions in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Freshman Summer Harper will represent the Weber State cross country team at the NCAA National Championships in Terre Haute, Indiana, on Saturday.

By placing eighth in a stacked NCAA Mountain Regional meet on Friday, freshman Summer Harper qualified for the NCAA National Championship meet on Saturday, November 23, in Terre Haute, Indiana.

The Weber State cross country team will host the 2013 Mountain Regional on Friday at Riverside Golf Course. The men will run a 10K race at noon and the women will begin their 6K race at 1:15 p.m. MT.

For the third-straight year Weber State's Paul Pilkington has been named the Big Sky Conference Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year.
