OGDEN The Weber State University men's and women's track and field teams are set to host the second annual Wildcat Indoor Winter Open on Friday and Saturday. lt;br />The meet is open to collegiate and post-collegiate competitors. lt;br />The meet will begin on Friday afternoon with the throwing events at the Weber County Fairgrounds Riding Arena (1000 N. 1200 W., Ogden, 84404). The facility has a rolled, packed dirt floor. The competition will begin at 4 p.m. with the men's weight throw and the women's shot put. lt;br />On Saturday morning, the meet will shift to the indoor track in Stromberg Arena on Weber State's campus. Leading off the morning session will be the men's pole vault and men's long jump at 9 a.m. The afternoon session will get underway at 2 p.m. with the women's 55-meter hurdle trials. lt;br />Admission to the meet is free to the public at both competition venues. lt;br />This will be the first of five competition weekends for the Wildcats before the Big Sky Indoor Championships, which will be hosted by Idaho State at Holt Arena on Feb. 23-25, 2017. lt;br />After this weekend, the Wildcats next indoor track meet will be their second home meet of the season, the Weber State Indoor Open on Jan. 13-14 in Ogden. lt;br />Meet Schedule lt;br />Friday, Dec. 2 lt;br />Weber County Fairgrounds Riding Arena (1000 N. 1200 W.
