Wildcats look to improve at Washington and Montana

The Wildcats will now make the trip to Bozeman and compete against conference rivals, Montana and Montana State. While another group of athletes will return to Washington looking to improve on their performances earlier in the season. lt;br />The meet in Bozeman will give the Wildcats a chance to see some of the best athlets in the Big Sky. Some of the fastest times in the nation and conference have been run there so far this season. lt;br />"The athletes heading to Washington will go and run against some of the best in the nation at that great facility," Director of Track and Field Dan Walker said, "It went well two weeks ago and we are expecting even better results. The meet at Montana State will be a great meet as well. They recently got a new track and everyone who I have talked to who has raced there was very pleased. We had major improvements last week and we will continue to get better this week." lt;br /> lt;br />MOORE GETS THE WIN AND PERSONAL BEST lt;br />Tawnie Moore, a sophomore from Ogden, Utah, ran away from the field in the 60-meter hurdles at the Jackson Invite. Moore's time of 8.78 was the fourth-fastest time in school history and a new personal-best. She entered the weekend with a best of 8.84. She is currently ranked ninth in the Big Sky. lt;br /> lt;br />ISAKSON PICKS UP A QUALIFYING MARK lt;br />Elisa Isakson, a senior from Highlands Ranch, Colo., picked a good a time to mark her return to the pole vault. Isakson's mark of 11-11.75 was a seasonal-best and qualifies her for the conference meet. That mark is tied for the sixth best in the Big Sky. Isakson also ran on the 1600-meter relay team that ran a seasonal-best time, 3:53.67. lt;br /> lt;br />ANOTHER TOP 10 PERFORMANCE BY STOKES lt;br />Jamie Stokes, a junior from Ogden,Utah, ran another personal-best this past weekend at the Jackson Invite. Her time of 2:12.76 is the 10th fastest time in school history. That is the fastest time for the Wildcats this year and ranks her second in
